GOD’S CLOTHING CLOSET IS THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 - 23
Planning is underway for this exciting event, and here are the key dates to mark on your calendars.
Now ~ start collecting clothing donations (clean and in good condition only, please) from neighborhood yard sales.  We always need lots of children's clothing.
GCC SCHEDULE:
August 18-22 ~ Sorting all the clothing, shoes, linens and “stuff” from about 9:30 am to 9:30 pm.
August 22 ~ One-hour time slots can be reserved for shopping.  We will start taking reservations after August 1.
August 23 from 8-11am ~ Everyone is welcome to shop – no reservation needed!
August 23 from 11am until done – cleaning up after the event. More details to come!

DONATIONS REQUESTED

Donate Single serve “grab-and-go” snacks or juice boxes

for our shoppers to enjoy! We need a lot - enough for over 500 people!  Donations can be dropped off in the church kitchen and marked GCC

Donate boxes of new garbage bags for the shoppers to use. 

Donate Books ~ We need children’s Bibles and Bible storybooks in good condition to give away.  Adult Bibles and devotionals too!

Donate Clothing ~ bring your clothing and shoes (clean and in good condition only, please) to the New Fellowship Hall from August 18 until August 22. Any size and any season are welcome, but we have special clothing needs for large men and large women, maternity, teens, children and infants.  Yes, we can even use purses and socks, underwear and bedding in good condition. We always have a huge need for children’s clothing, so feel free to stop at Yard sales and pick up leftover children’s clothing in good condition! (It is usually free at the end of the yard sale) Launder soiled clothing throughout the week and return it for the event.

PRAY FOR THE EVENT!
Pray that we have lots of wonderful clothing to give to hundreds of grateful shoppers, that our church may be able to provide a meaningful outreach into the community, and that we might reach some of the lost for Jesus.
